In addition to a more voluminous and authoritative low frequency foundation, the Maestro XL extends meaningfully deeper than the standard Maestro, reaching approximately five Hertz lower. The added cabinet volume and structural refinement result in bass that carries greater weight and control, supporting a presentation that feels more dimensional and immersive. Imaging gains depth and layering, and the overall soundstage develops with a more natural sense of scale.

Where the Maestro and Maestro X prioritize maximum placement flexibility, the XL benefits from more traditional positioning with appropriate space behind the enclosure. When allowed to breathe, it reveals a presentation that is fuller and more balanced overall — in many ways approaching the tonal maturity and composure associated with the Companion, while maintaining the Maestro’s more compact footprint.

The Maestro XL cabinet is designed to work with a wide range of eight-inch full-range drivers.
